Improve mobility first
Health, light, and movement accessories make exploration safer. Search caves systematically and keep useful finds in storage. If a new region immediately overwhelms you, return with better mobility and supplies.
Build an arena before a boss
Create clear movement space near the encounter and place useful recovery resources. Learn the boss movement pattern with a simple weapon you can aim consistently. An arena often helps more than another untested weapon swap.
