Crafting stations and materials

Use stations and recipe discovery to make each gathering trip answer a specific need.

THE GUIDE

What to do and why

Place stations together

Keep a Work Bench, Furnace, Anvil, and storage in a readable area as they become available. Walking between scattered stations makes it harder to understand which materials are missing from the next recipe.

Check a recipe before mining

Bring the key ingredient to the Guide to inspect possibilities, then note the station and remaining materials. Gather for one upgrade at a time instead of filling inventory with unrelated blocks.

Save a sample of new drops

A newly found ore, herb, or monster material may support later equipment or consumables. Keep at least a sample until you have checked its recipes and decided whether it fits the next goal.
