What to do and why
Read the growth time
Before buying seeds late in a season, compare the growth time with the days remaining. Most crops are seasonal, so planting a crop that cannot mature before the season changes wastes both seed money and watering time.
Budget energy and cash
Buy a number of seeds you can water reliably, then reserve some money for tools or unexpected needs. Reinvest after a harvest rather than committing the entire budget before you know how the crop schedule feels.
Use rainy days differently
When rain handles watering, spend the saved time on fishing, mining, or collecting materials. Keep a small reserve of supplies so the next clear day can return to the farm routine without a long detour.
