About Palworld
Palworld brings creature collecting into an open-world survival and crafting game. Pals join combat, help with transport, and perform work around a base. Progress depends on both the team you take into the world and the production system that keeps equipment, food, and supplies available when you return.
A practical opening focuses on a dependable loop: gather, craft, keep workers supplied, explore a manageable distance, and return with a specific improvement. The advice below explains how to organize that loop without assuming an old early-access balance table still describes the current version.
01 / THE GUIDE
Choose a workable first base
Look for room to place production, storage, beds, and food access without forcing Pals through tight passages. Nearby resources help, but a location that creates constant travel or pathing problems can consume more time than it saves. Keep the early layout simple enough that you can see where work has stopped.
Arrange storage around the activity that uses the materials. Check whether workers can actually reach a station after adding another building, and leave space around large Pals. Expand only after the existing food and production loop works without constant personal intervention.
- Keep paths between food, rest, and work clear.
- Observe a full production task after changing the layout.
- Choose an expansion to solve a visible bottleneck.
02 / THE GUIDE
Match work suitability to production
Pals have different work suitabilities, so capture variety before deciding that every job needs a stronger version of the same creature. Match the station's work type with a suitable Pal, then check whether the worker is performing that task or being diverted into another available job.
When production slows, inspect the whole chain: raw materials, the correct work type, reachable storage, food, and the worker's condition. Increasing the number of workers does not solve a missing ingredient or a station they cannot access. Confirm current suitability values in the game rather than relying on an old ranking.
- Check the station's required work type.
- Watch where an idle Pal tries to go.
- Fix supply or access problems before adding workers.

03 / THE GUIDE
Capture and assemble a useful team
Carry capture supplies for a planned expedition instead of spending every resource before you know the destination. Read the target's level and the game's current capture indicators, weaken it carefully, and leave enough space to retreat. A capture attempt should not make you lose the rest of the supplies needed to get home.
Give the traveling team complementary jobs. A mount, a combat answer for the destination, and utility can matter more than filling every position with similar attackers. Read partner skills and equipment requirements so that a Pal's intended function is actually available.
- Restock capture supplies before leaving the base.
- Read partner skills and required equipment.
- Keep one dependable Pal for an unexpected encounter.

Technology and upgrade priorities
Choose the next unlock from a problem you currently face. If food is unreliable, another weapon may not improve the overall expedition loop. If production is stable but travel is slow, mobility or carrying support may provide more useful progress than a larger base.
Before spending scarce materials, check what the recipe needs and what new production step it creates. Keep a working tool or weapon while building the replacement. Test a new setup on a short trip so that missing ammunition, repairs, or equipment can be corrected close to home.
- Pick one upgrade goal at a time.
- Check both crafting and ongoing supply costs.
- Keep a usable fallback while replacing equipment.
05 / THE GUIDE
Plan exploration and difficult encounters
Set a destination and a return condition before leaving. Carry food, capture tools, appropriate equipment, and enough capacity for the resources that motivated the trip. Unlock useful travel points as you find them, but avoid turning every landmark into a fight you must complete immediately.
For a difficult encounter, inspect the opponent and bring a team suited to that problem. Learn the attack that forces a retreat and identify room to recover. In cooperative play, agree on who is attracting attention and when to disengage so that several players do not consume all their recovery options at once.
- Name the material or objective you are traveling for.
- Check equipment condition before departure.
- Return after a meaningful gain rather than filling every inventory slot.
