Players act as guides, helping the small blue creatures escape the evil Bloats and reach the safety of Zoombiniville. The game blends adventure storytelling with logical challenges that grow in difficulty as the journey progresses.
Twelve distinct puzzle locations each contain four difficulty levels, offering a progressive test of pattern‑recognition and problem‑solving. New backgrounds, restored voice work, and bonus soundtrack material round out the experience, while achievements and celebrations reward successful navigation of every challenge.

Story and Goal
The narrative follows the Zoombinis, blue creatures with unique appearances, as they flee imprisonment by the evil Bloats. The player’s role is to guide them from their threatened home to Zoombiniville, a safe haven. The story unfolds through encounters with memorable characters such as the Narrator, Stone Guards, and Captain Cajun.
Progress is measured by getting all Zoombinis safely across each of the twelve puzzle locations. The core objective of the game is to get all the Zoombinis to safety across the twelve puzzle locations.

Puzzle Structure
The game presents twelve perilous puzzles, each with four levels that increase in difficulty. Locations include Allergic Cliffs, Stone Cold Caves, Pizza Pass, and others, providing a varied logical landscape. Each level requires players to analyze data, spot patterns, and apply logical reasoning to advance.
Challenges are self‑contained, and each location offers four levels of increasing difficulty to work through. The design encourages repeated logical analysis without introducing new mechanics beyond the core pattern‑matching tasks.
- Treat each level as a separate logical test; reuse successful strategies from earlier difficulties.
- Take notes on pattern rules; they often reappear in later puzzles with slight variations.
