About Zero Caliber VR
Zero Caliber VR is a VR‑only shooter that blends a single‑player campaign with up to four‑player co‑op and online PvP matches. All actions—climbing, jumping, crouching, aiming, reloading and taking cover—use tracked‑controller motion for a physically immersive loop.
The story is set in a near‑future where contaminated water drives conflict among militaries, mercenaries, private armies and a cult called the Tlalokii. Community‑made missions and maps can be added through native mod support via mod.io and Unreal Engine.
01 / THE GUIDE
Realistic Combat System
Combat requires the player to move their body: climb, jump, crouch, duck, and physically reload each weapon. The game encourages finding cover, peeking around corners and clearing obstacles using real‑world gestures, mirroring military tactics beyond simple shooting.
Staying exposed leads to death, while coordinated squad actions improve mission success. Grenades must be pin‑pulled before throwing, reinforcing realistic handling of explosives.
- Practice each motion in a safe area before entering a combat zone.
- Use natural cover objects to reduce exposure while you learn the movement controls.

Weapon Customization
Every firearm mirrors its real‑world counterpart and features a distinct reloading method. Players can attach laser sights, switch to semi‑automatic fire, or grab a sniper rifle or shotgun, supporting styles from precise sniping to rapid shotgun blasts.
Attachments can be combined on‑the‑fly, but recoil remains a factor; heavier firepower may demand steadier handling, and dual‑wielding machine guns is possible though more challenging.
- Test each attachment in a low‑risk scenario to gauge recoil impact.
- Mix and match on‑the‑fly to discover the most comfortable configuration for your style.

Dystopian Story Setting
The narrative unfolds in a near‑future where microplastic‑contaminated water has become lethal, sparking conflict over drinkable supplies. Military forces, mercenaries, private armies and religious cults vie for control.
The most threatening faction is the Tlalokii, a secretive cult worshipping the Aztec rain god Tlaloc. Their motto, “Join us or perish,” hints at knowledge that could change humanity’s fate.
- Pay attention to environmental storytelling to understand faction motives.
- Consider the water‑scarcity theme when interpreting mission objectives.

Tracked‑controller support ensures motion‑based interaction remains consistent for all participants, whether they are cooperating or facing off.
- Coordinate with teammates before entering a mission to assign roles.
- Try both co‑op and PvP to experience the full range of gameplay.
