About Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game
Yi Xian: The Cultivation Card Game asks you to draw many cards while traveling a cultivation path and to select the most suitable ones for a personal deck. The core loop revolves around combining those cards to unleash their full effect in battles.
The title supports both solo play and online PvP, where each opponent also builds a deck from scratch. Losing several matches results in elimination, encouraging continual refinement of card choices, sub‑professions, and rare fortune cards.
01 / THE GUIDE
Deck Building
During each session you receive a large pool of cards and must decide which to keep for your deck. The selection process determines the options you have when the game later asks you to combine or place cards together.
The strength of a deck depends on how well the chosen cards work together; arranging them in synergistic groups can increase the impact of each draw during combat.
- Experiment with different groupings to see how card interactions shift overall power.
- Track which cards appear most often in draws and consider keeping a balanced mix.
02 / THE GUIDE
Sub‑Profession System
At the start of a game you may pick a Sub‑Profession, which grants a unique set of exclusive cards. Those cards are unavailable to characters using other Sub‑Professions.
Because the same character can pair with different Sub‑Professions, the same avatar can produce distinct decks, offering varied gameplay experiences.
- Try several Sub‑Professions to compare the exclusive cards they provide.
- Match exclusive cards with your core strategy to discover new combos.

03 / THE GUIDE
Immortal Fates
When you break through a cultivation milestone, a group of Immortal Fates appears at random, influenced by your chosen sect and character. You must select one of these gifts.
Each Fate delivers a specific effect—such as extra draws, attribute boosts, or passive abilities—and some may require you to shape your deck around their particular bonuses.
- Choose a Fate whose effect aligns with the current composition of your deck.
- If a Fate suggests a new focus, consider adjusting card priorities to match.

Fortune Cards
After each battle there is a small chance to obtain a fortune card. These cards are rarer than regular ones and can introduce new building ideas.
Fortune cards may grant Spiritual Pet, Talisman, or Guild Secret Spell cards; their power is comparable to regular cards of the same rank but they often inspire unique deck concepts.
- Collect fortune cards to expand the pool of options for future decks.
- Test a fortune card in a side deck before committing it to your main strategy.
05 / THE GUIDE
PvP Battles
All opponents are other online players who also construct decks from the ground up. Each match evaluates how well your deck performs against theirs.
If you lose multiple encounters you are removed from the current competition, prompting you to refine your deck and try again.
- Observe common card choices among opponents to anticipate typical strategies.
- After a loss, note which opponent cards caused the defeat and adjust accordingly.
