About Yakuza Kiwami
Yakuza Kiwami retells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who serves ten years for a murder he didn’t commit and returns to the neon‑lit district of Kamurocho. The city’s yakuza factions are on the brink of war, and Kiryu is drawn into a narrative that blends love, betrayal, and personal resolve. Combat revolves around four distinct fighting styles—Brawler, Rush, Beast, and Dragon—that can be swapped instantly, and players may pick up makeshift weapons found on the streets to augment attacks against groups of enemies. Outside the main plot, the game offers a suite of nightlife diversions: karaoke, a casino, a cabaret club, an arcade, and batting cages, each populated by a variety of characters. The title supports full controller input, including DualShock and DualSense, and integrates with Steam Input for custom mappings. Adjustable difficulty lets players tailor the challenge, while Steam Cloud, achievements, and trading cards provide standard Steam ecosystem features. Released exclusively for Windows, Yakuza Kiwami is a re‑release of the Legacy edition that adds extra text languages but otherwise mirrors the original content; save data does not transfer between editions, and owners of the Legacy version can purchase this edition at a reduced price. Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (Sega), the game delivers a single‑player experience that blends action, adventure, and light RPG elements within a richly detailed urban setting.
