About Yakuza Kiwami 2
Kazuma Kiryu’s quiet life with Haruka Sawamura shatters when Yukio Terada, the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, is assassinated by a single gunshot. The legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the underworld he tried to leave, traveling to Sotenbori in Osaka to broker peace between rival clans. Standing in his way is Ryuji Goda, the Dragon of Kansai, who wants nothing less than all-out war—because in this world, there can only be one dragon.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 pairs hard-hitting brawling with a lively recreation of Japan’s entertainment districts, and it also includes a standalone Majima Saga that fills in the story between the first two Kiwami remakes.

Side Activities
Away from the fighting, the game offers the pleasures of Japan’s leading entertainment districts. Kamurocho is packed with restaurants, bars, and experiences for visitors, while Sotenbori greets everyone with its deep-rooted food and laughter culture.
Whether you enjoy karaoke, cabaret, batting cages, or blackjack, there is something for everyone, and these diversions make a great change of pace from the main storyline.
- Sample a bit of everything—each district has its own flavor of nightlife.
- The blackjack tables are a fun way to unwind between story chapters.

Majima Bonus Scenario
A bonus Majima Saga scenario is included, separate from the main story. It follows Goro Majima, the Mad Dog of Shimano, and reveals what happens between the events of Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2.
Because it is a standalone scenario, it does not change the main game’s story, but it rounds out the timeline between the two remakes.
- Playing the Majima Saga after the main story can give the events extra context.
- Watch how Majima’s choices connect to what you already know from the main campaign.
