About Wreck Runners
Wreck Runners is an online co‑op extraction game for up to four players set in a haunted, ever‑changing Bermuda Triangle. Hired by the Trustwell Corporation, crews pilot the ORCA to haul salvage while the world collapses around them.
Every run is physics‑driven: you grab, throw, and secure loot with the Scrapjack, then cash it in between trips to buy equipment, upgrades, and cosmetics. The Triangle never repeats, forcing crews to adapt and rely on each other to survive and return home.

Core Gameplay Loop
Each session begins with a fresh start in the Triangle, where the crew must locate and retrieve salvage. The physics‑driven system requires players to physically move items onto the ORCA, making timing and coordination essential.
After a haul is secured, players return to base to cash in salvage, which funds equipment upgrades and cosmetics. This loop repeats, with each run presenting new layouts and challenges, encouraging continual adaptation.
- Observe how objects react to physics before attempting a throw; a gentle push often succeeds where a hard toss fails.
- Communicate loot locations early so the crew can prioritize high‑value items.

The ORCA Vehicle
The ORCA serves as the sole transport across land, sea, and air, remaining the constant for the crew. It holds the salvage and provides the platform for the physics‑driven interactions.
Keeping the ORCA moving is vital; a stalled vehicle halts the haul and endangers the crew. Players must coordinate to maintain momentum while loading and defending the cargo.
- Assign one player to monitor the ORCA’s movement while others focus on loading.
- Use the vehicle’s stability to your advantage when positioning heavy salvage.

Salvage and the Scrapjack
Salvage is the valuable loot scattered throughout each run. The Scrapjack is the tool used to haul these items onto the ORCA, with every interaction governed by physics.
Successful retrieval depends on precise grabs and throws, as the environment can shift and destabilize cargo. Mastery of the Scrapjack improves haul efficiency and reduces the risk of losing loot.
- Practice gentle lifts for fragile items; aggressive throws can cause them to slip.
- Watch the terrain for sudden changes that might affect your grip.

Progression and Upgrades
Between runs, players can cash in salvage to purchase better equipment, upgrades, and cosmetics. These purchases enhance the crew’s ability to survive future trips.
The system encourages repeated play, as each successful haul expands the options available for the next expedition, allowing crews to tailor their loadout to personal preferences.
- Prioritize functional upgrades before cosmetic items to improve survivability.
- Track which equipment reduces the time needed to secure loot.

Dynamic Triangle Environment
The Bermuda Triangle setting is described as haunted and ever‑changing, ensuring that no two trips are identical. Loot locations, terrain, and fog‑borne threats shift each run.
This variability forces crews to stay alert, adapt strategies on the fly, and rely on teamwork to navigate unexpected obstacles.
- Treat each run as a fresh puzzle; avoid assuming previous routes will reappear.
- Stay flexible with your plan; the fog may reveal new hazards at any moment.
