01 / THE GUIDE
All Language Campaigns in One Package
The Polyglot edition includes the full set of existing campaigns—French, European or Latin American Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese—accessible without extra purchase. Players may also start from any of the listed base languages such as English, Dutch or Arabic before switching to a target language.
Each campaign follows the same hero’s story, but the dialogue and environmental text appear in the chosen language, allowing learners to compare expressions across languages by revisiting areas.
- Try starting a new campaign after completing one to notice how familiar story beats feel in a different language.
- Use the in‑game dictionary when switching to a language you know less well to keep immersion smooth.

Learning Integrated into Gameplay
Every conversation, quest and puzzle requires forming sentences, understanding dialogue and selecting appropriate expressions. Speech‑recognition challenges appear where available, letting players practice pronunciation while advancing the story. A built‑in dictionary and contextual help support learning without breaking immersion.
Mini‑games such as crosswords, memory games and charades add variety, reinforcing vocabulary and grammar in a low‑pressure setting.
- Activate contextual help during tough puzzles to get support without breaking immersion.
- Repeat speech‑recognition lines to improve pronunciation before moving on.

Spaced‑Repetition Combat System
Combat encounters are driven by language answers; correct responses power up attacks and skills. The system uses spaced repetition, presenting previously learned words and grammar at increasing intervals to strengthen long‑term retention while keeping battles engaging.
Players can adjust combat difficulty, making encounters more relaxed or more challenging, so you can tailor the challenge to your comfort level.
- Focus on mastering a small set of core verbs before tackling higher‑difficulty combat.
- Note which words gave you trouble during a battle so you can focus practice on them.

Difficulty Modes & Language‑Specific Input
Each campaign offers multiple difficulty settings for beginners (A1–A2) and dedicated modes for Korean, Japanese and Chinese learners. Specialized modules provide Hangul, kana, kanji, pinyin and hanzi support, with optional graphical keyboards and phonetic typing options.
Players may choose between simplified input (e.g., pinyin‑only) or full character entry, and can enable furigana or ruby pinyin to see pronunciation cues while reading.
- Start with the phonetic typing mode if you are unfamiliar with the native script.
- Enable furigana or ruby pinyin when first tackling Japanese or Chinese to reduce reading friction.
