About Witchtastic
Witchtastic is a 2‑4 player cooperative game where aspiring witches brew and deliver magical potions as quickly as possible. Play together on the same couch, online, or via Steam Remote Play Together, and you can also practice solo in a single‑player campaign.
The world spans villages, forests, swamps, cities and snowy ruins, each populated with hazards such as haunted forests, hungry wolves and deadly swamps. Collect ingredients, throw them into a boiling cauldron, and aim for fast times that appear on Steam Leaderboards.

Co‑op Play Options
Witchtastic supports couch co‑op for two to four players, letting each witch share the same screen while cooperating on recipes. The same player count works in true online multiplayer, where each participant connects over the internet.
Steam Remote Play Together extends both couch and online experiences, allowing a friend without a copy to join a session through the host’s Steam client. All modes rely on quick, accurate communication to complete recipes.
- Test voice chat before starting a recipe to ensure everyone can hear instructions.
- Arrange split‑screen so each cauldron is clearly visible without excessive head movement.

Single‑Player Campaign
A solo campaign lets a single witch travel the same locations and collect the same ingredients as in co‑op, providing a low‑pressure environment for learning recipes.
The campaign tracks individual completion times, giving players a baseline they can later compare against multiplayer runs or Steam Leaderboards.
- Use solo runs to experiment with ingredient order before joining a group.
- Record your fastest recipe times to set personal speed‑run goals.

Gathering Ingredients
Players collect ingredients such as deadly nightshade, garlic, mushrooms and mandrakes while traveling through forests, swamps and other areas. Each ingredient appears in the world and can be added to the boiling cauldron.
Correct ingredient combinations are required for each potion recipe; using the wrong item prevents the potion from completing and slows delivery.
- Keep a short mental list of required items for each recipe before you start brewing.
- Notice environmental cues that hint at specific ingredient types in a given area.

World Locations and Hazards
The game world includes villages, forests, swamps, cities and snowy ruins. Traveling between these zones is part of the potion‑delivery loop and introduces new ingredient sources.
Each zone contains hazards like haunted forests, hungry wolves and deadly swamps, which can delay progress if players do not navigate carefully.
- Plan routes that pass through areas containing needed ingredients before heading to the delivery point.
- Watch for visual warnings of hazards to avoid unnecessary detours.

Witch Customization
Collecting magic gems unlocks outfits, headdresses and other cosmetics. These items are applied through the game’s customization menu and change the visual appearance of each witch.
Cosmetic choices let you customize your witch in many different ways, and they provide a way to display progress during co‑op sessions.
- Mix and match unlocked pieces to create a distinct look that stands out in multiplayer.
- Visit the customization screen after each session to try new combinations.
