About Witch Cabin Cleanup
Witch Cabin Cleanup is a single‑player organizing simulator where you restore order to a cluttered witch’s cabin. You sort more than 5,300 curios across six distinct rooms, moving at a relaxed pace with no timers or failure states.
The core loop is picking up items such as potion vials, spellbooks, or jars of moth wings and placing them on the correct shelves. As you progress you earn upgrades that increase speed and reach, and you can unlock a few small spells that aid tidying.
01 / THE GUIDE
Six Distinct Rooms
The cabin is divided into six separate areas, including the apothecary, library, greenhouse, and ritual chamber. Each room contains its own collection of curios that must be returned to appropriate shelves or racks, and progress is tracked per room.
Visual themes differ between rooms, influencing the types of items you encounter. Observing the layout before sorting helps you understand where each category belongs and gives a clear sense of completion as each room’s shelves become orderly.
- Look at the room’s visual cues before beginning to sort.
- Complete one room fully before moving to the next for clearer progress.

Pick‑Up‑And‑Place Gameplay
Interaction consists of picking up a single item—such as a potion vial, a loose spellbook, or a jar of moth wings—and placing it on the correct shelf or rack. No additional actions, timers, or game‑over conditions are present.
The same pick‑up‑and‑place mechanic works with any supported input method, as the game lists full controller support for Windows alongside standard controls.
- Take a moment to examine each item before moving it.
- Use the input method you find most comfortable for precise placement.

Speed and Reach Upgrades
During play you can earn upgrades that let you move faster and reach farther across shelves. These upgrades reduce the distance you must travel to place items, especially useful in larger rooms like the greenhouse.
Upgrades are earned as you play, keeping progression tied to the amount of sorting you complete.
- Consider reach upgrades first if high shelves feel difficult.
- Speed upgrades become noticeable after sorting many items.

Minor Magical Abilities
A few small spells become available, including a levitation charm and a banishing wand. These abilities let you manipulate items more quickly, complementing the speed and reach upgrades.
Using a spell is optional; the game can be completed without them, but they add a whimsical element to the tidying process.
- Try the levitation charm for items on top shelves.
- Use the banishing wand when cluttered spots block access.

Room‑Based Progress Indicators
Each finished room shows clear progress, giving you a sense of how much work remains in that area.
When a room reaches 100 % completion, its shelves appear neatly arranged, providing a clear visual cue of accomplishment.
- Check the room’s progress before switching rooms to know what remains.
- Celebrate each fully organized room to maintain motivation.
