About Wilmot Works It Out
Wilmot Works It Out is a single‑player puzzle building game where you assemble original picture puzzles and display them in Wilmot’s house. Each completed picture can be hung in a room, and finishing a series of puzzles unlocks new décor options.
The game offers over 60 handcrafted puzzles, seven extra rooms, more than twenty unlockable items, and the ability to adopt a cat or a dog. A gentle jazzy electronic soundtrack accompanies play, and a Marathon Mode adds extended organizing challenges.
01 / THE GUIDE
Puzzle Assembly
You solve each puzzle by fitting together the provided pieces to form a complete image, such as a snake wearing a hat or an octopus. Once the picture is finished, you decide where in the house to hang it.
Completing puzzles drives progression, as a series of solved puzzles unlocks further customisation options for the home. The puzzles are original works by Richard Hogg, known for his work on Hohokum and Flock.
- Observe the shape of each piece before placing it to reduce trial‑and‑error.
- Compare the emerging image with the preview to guide placement.

House Customisation

Customisation items become available as you complete puzzles, gradually expanding the visual options for making the house feel like a home.
- Mix and match colours to create contrasting themes across rooms.
- Use unlocked bookcases to break up wall space for visual interest.
