About Wildmender
Wildmender asks players to revive a barren desert by planting seeds, shaping terrain, and defending against corrupting wraiths. Gather resources, craft tools, and channel water to grow a personal garden that expands acre by acre.
The game supports solo play and online co‑op for up to four players. A procedurally generated world, day‑night cycle, and dozens of plant species, structures, and outfits give each playthrough a fresh creative challenge.
01 / THE GUIDE
Gardening and Crafting
Players explore the desert, forage for seeds and other resources, then return to their garden to plant and tend a growing oasis. Dozens of plant species and many cultivars can be cultivated, which you nurture with water as your garden grows.
Craftable tools and structures let you dig canals, build bridges, and shape terrain. Over fifty craftable items provide functional options for irrigation and decorative touches such as walls, gates, and magical sigils.
- Experiment with different cultivars to see how each grows in your garden.
- Build simple canals early; they channel water to your plants across the garden.

Exploration and Survival
The desert world includes dunes, a drained sea, poisoned canyons, and distant mountains, each presenting unique hazards. Players must manage food and water while foraging for seeds, minerals, and other resources.
Venturing farther yields rarer plants, exotic minerals, adorable creatures, and ancient spirits, but also raises the risk of dehydration, poison, or encounters with wraiths that corrupt the land.
- Carry enough food and water before entering a new biome.
- Balance exploration distance with the amount of resources you can safely return.

4‑Player Co‑op Gardening
Up to three friends can join your garden online, sharing resources and defending against wraiths together. Cooperative play also extends to joint exploration, allowing the group to tackle tougher areas as a team.
With more players, resource planning becomes a shared responsibility. All participants must coordinate water, food, and building materials to keep the garden thriving.
- Communicate water and food needs before setting out on a joint expedition.
- Share gathered materials promptly to avoid shortages during building.

World Lore and Mysteries
Players uncover the fate of a fallen civilization by visiting temples, learning stories, and rediscovering arcane magic. These discoveries grant powerful weapons, tools, and abilities useful against the life‑draining wraiths.
The narrative ties gardening to a larger purpose: freeing the gods and restoring life to the corrupted land, giving each garden a role in the world’s rebirth.
- Explore temples early to unlock abilities that aid later combat.
- Pay attention to story fragments for clues about hidden locations.

Customization and Outfits
Players can craft a loom to weave a wide variety of outfits for desert travel. Outfits let you personalize your character and travel the desert in style.
Custom structures—such as stucco walls, gates, and magical sigils—also let players shape the visual identity of their garden, creating a unique look for each playthrough.
- Mix outfit colors to create a distinct visual theme for your garden.
- Use decorative structures to reinforce the style you prefer.
