About WGT Golf
WGT Golf brings a realistic 3‑D golf simulation to Steam Early Access, recreating iconic venues such as Pebble Beach, St Andrews and Pinehurst using GPS data, a physics engine and advanced graphics. The game is free‑to‑play and runs on Windows and macOS.
Players can enjoy single‑player stroke formats, compete in real‑time head‑to‑head matches, or join private country clubs for community tournaments. Existing WGT accounts transfer virtual equipment and apparel, and cross‑platform multiplayer lets friends play together.

Game Formats and Modes
The core formats are full 18‑hole stroke play, 9‑hole closest‑to‑the‑hole and 3‑hole stroke play. All formats use the same swing mechanics for drives, chips, pitches and putts from tees, fairways, rough, bunkers and greens.
Multiplayer adds real‑time head‑to‑head stroke play, allowing players to invite friends, chat live and compare scores while playing the same round together. The mode works across Windows and macOS.
- Try the 9‑hole closest‑to‑the‑hole mode to focus on precision without a full round.
