About Wander Hero
Wander Hero blends card‑based strategy with a marble‑ejection combat system. As the mercenary captain you explore randomly generated dungeons, travel between distinct towns, and recruit a varied roster of partners.
Each town—such as mountain‑ringed Pimo Town or tree‑filled Luanwu Village—offers its own scenery, events, and opportunities to collect skill cards, train mercenaries, and equip them for the challenges that await.
01 / THE GUIDE
World Exploration
The captain can move to several towns that exist in different worlds. Pimo Town is described with endless blacksmith sounds and mountain scenery, while Luanwu Village features treehouses, bridges, and flowing water.
These towns serve as hubs for adventures and events. Visiting a town triggers a new randomly generated dungeon, providing fresh combat scenarios each time you travel.
- Compare the visual and auditory details of each town to decide which atmosphere fits your current goals.
- Notice whether certain towns tend to introduce specific types of mercenaries or cards.

Mercenary Recruitment
Town adventures and events let the leader encounter a range of mercenaries, including succubi, knight commanders, and battle maids, each with distinct outfits, personalities, and races.
Recruited mercenaries can be trained to improve skills and equipped with items, allowing the captain to shape a balanced group for later battles.
- Track the races and personalities you meet to see which combinations appear most often together.
- Balance training and equipment upgrades to keep the overall team strength steady.

Card Strategy
Skill cards are scattered across the worlds and come in attack, defense, and buff varieties. Collecting these cards lets players build personal decks that influence combat.
Deck composition affects how mercenaries act during marble‑ejection battles, so players must weigh beneficial cards against occasional inappropriate ones.
- Mix different card types to discover unexpected synergies during combat.
- Keep an eye on the ratio of attack, defense, and buff cards for a well‑rounded deck.

Marble‑Ejection Combat
Each character becomes a marble that the player gently pulls from a baseline before ejecting to fight. The leader also pulls a baseline, predicts strength and path, and can eject multiple monsters.
Characters affect each other's ejection effects, and a linkage mechanism enables combo attacks when timing and positioning line up.
- Observe how one mercenary’s ejection changes another’s trajectory for potential combos.
- Practice baseline timing to increase the number of monsters you can eject in a single turn.
