Shikigami system
The core mechanic lets players recruit over 100 shikigami allies and equip them in any combination. This “equip your allies” approach determines the party’s abilities and tactical options.
Shikigami can be mixed freely, allowing diverse builds that suit the player’s preferred combat style.
- Experiment with different shikigami pairings to discover synergistic effects.
- Balance offensive and defensive shikigami to handle varied enemy encounters.

Turn‑based combat
Combat unfolds in a 2‑D presentation using turn‑based mechanics. Players issue commands for each party member, then enemies act in response, creating a strategic back‑and‑forth.
The system emphasizes planning, as the order of actions and shikigami placement can affect battle outcomes.
- Plan moves ahead of enemy turns to maximize shikigami positioning.
- Use the turn order to anticipate enemy patterns and counter them.
