About VR Giants
VR Giants puts a VR player and a non‑VR screen player on the same PC, sharing one virtual world. The VR player becomes a giant, while the screen player controls a tiny person. Their only way to progress is by coordinating actions that solve puzzles and eventually free both characters.
The game is marketed as suitable for all skill levels and encourages teamwork, kindness, and clear communication. Players explore deserts, icebergs, lava caves, and pastures while rescuing lost sheep and can earn cosmetic items.

Co‑op Dynamics
The giant is controlled in VR, but its position changes only when the tiny player steps on buttons. This inversion means the VR player cannot move freely; they must rely on the screen player’s inputs to reach new areas.
Puzzles are built around this split‑role system. The tiny player activates buttons that summon or move the giant, while the giant manipulates objects the tiny player cannot reach, requiring constant communication.
- Agree on a simple cue like “now” before each button press to keep timing clear.
- Keep a short verbal check after each move to confirm the giant is where both players expect.

Giant States
Three giant states exist: Solid Goliath appears after a single button press and remains until released; Temporary Goliath stays only while the button is continuously held; Fire Goliath is made of lava and must avoid touching the tiny player or any wooden objects.
Each state changes how puzzles must be approached. Solid Goliath provides a stable platform, Temporary Goliath creates brief bridges, and Fire Goliath adds a hazard that limits where the tiny player can stand.
- Use Solid Goliath when a lasting platform is needed for the tiny player.
- When using Fire Goliath, keep the tiny player away from wooden objects.

Environment Puzzles
Players travel through deserts, icebergs, lava caves, and pastures. Each environment contains distinct obstacles that require the giant’s size and the tiny player’s precision to overcome.
The overarching goal in every area is to rescue lost sheep, giving a clear objective that ties the varied puzzles together.
- Observe the layout of each environment before activating any buttons.
- Prioritize clearing obstacles that block the path to the sheep.

Setup Requirements
A 2 m × 2 m play area is required for the game. The VR player must move actively—kneeling, rising, and shifting weight—so a clear space helps prevent fatigue and accidents.
The game supports VR, tracked controllers, partial controller support, and online co‑op, allowing the screen player to join without a headset.
- Clear the play area of any obstacles before starting.
- Take short breaks if the VR player feels any fatigue.

Accessibility & Multiplayer
VR Giants is described as accessible to players of all skill levels and supports friends, family, or significant others. Features include multiplayer, co‑op, shared/split‑screen co‑op, cross‑platform multiplayer, and Remote Play Together.
These options let participants join from different devices, making the experience flexible for households with a single headset or for remote friends.
- Use shared/split‑screen mode if only one headset is available.
- Try Remote Play Together to let a distant friend control the tiny player.
