About Voodoo Fishin'
Voodoo Fishin’ is an online co‑op fishing game for 1‑6 players set in a creepy‑cozy bayou. Players use proximity voice chat while exploring the swamp, crafting puppet anglers, and hunting rare or legendary fish.
The swamp offers 37 missions, a shared Dock Quota, and two Fish Mongers with separate bounties. Dying causes the swamp to keep your catch and any equipped tackle, making survival as important as the haul.

Puppet Angler Creation
At the dock you build a puppet angler, then dress it with Puppet Parts that can only be earned while exploring the swamp. These parts change the puppet’s appearance and can only be earned out in the swamp.
Because Puppet Parts are exclusive rewards from missions, collecting them encourages you to complete a variety of daily tasks and revisit the swamp for new parts.

Mission Variety and Locals
The swamp hosts 37 missions, ranging from tea parties to “legally ambiguous” deliveries. Locals such as Lil’ Lucile, Jonah Swol, Kenny the Mechanic, and Sketchy Steve each provide a daily task that moves each day.
Each mission grants exclusive Tackle and Puppet Parts, so checking the swamp regularly reveals new objectives and unique rewards.

Shared Dock Quota System
All fish sold by the crew fill a shared Dock Quota. Reaching the quota unlocks dock upgrades such as bigger coolers, Sprint Boost, and Jump Boost for the whole team.
Two Fish Mongers each offer their own Bounties and Quota rewards, letting crews choose which prize to pursue together.

Equipment, Tackle, and Upgrades
Caught fish are sold to the Fish Monger, while junk can be sold at Rusty Remy’s or the Pawn Shop. Earnings let you upgrade Bait, Reels, and Rods for larger, rarer catches.
Auntie Brigitte provides voodoo‑enchanted bait that lures the swamp’s strangest species, adding a unique lure option beyond standard upgrades.

Persistent Self‑Hosted World
Voodoo Fishin’ runs on self‑hosted servers, meaning the swamp stays available as long as players remain alive; there are no corporate shutdowns or service discontinuation.
The demo includes all core gameplay systems but limits world exploration and higher‑tier Tackle, offering a complete taste of the main loop while restricting some content.
