About Voids Vigil
Voids Vigil drops you into a rogue‑lite arena where auto‑firing weapons and drones handle most combat while you dash and trigger timed abilities. The goal is to survive waves of robotic foes and defeat the Conservator Custodian at The Void.
Runs last between ten and forty minutes and come in several modes and difficulties. Scores are posted on Steam leaderboards, and completing runs with different vessels can unlock powerful items.
01 / THE GUIDE
Auto‑Battler Action
Weapons and drones fire automatically, delivering continuous damage against the randomly generated enemy hordes. This lets you focus on positioning, dashing, and activating abilities at key moments.
The combination of auto‑fire and manual timing creates fast‑paced runs that require quick reflexes for dashes and ability triggers while the auto‑shooting handles the bulk of combat.
- Observe enemy patterns before dashing to avoid unnecessary movement.
- Save ability cooldowns for moments when enemy density spikes.

Vessel Classes
Multiple vessels can be unlocked, each offering a distinct playstyle and set of challenges. Selecting a different vessel on subsequent runs can unlock powerful items, encouraging experimentation.
Each vessel offers a distinct playstyle and its own challenges, shaping how you approach the arena and the final encounter with the Conservator Custodian.
- Try a different vessel if you prefer focusing on ability timing.
- Switch vessels after unlocking items to discover new synergies.

Weapons and Drones
A wide array of guns feature differing stats and traits; buyable traits can make projectiles home‑in or explode. Weapons can be upgraded into mega weapons for greater impact.
Drones serve roles such as gun‑toting support or Cog detection, and they too can be upgraded into powerful mega versions, expanding tactical options during runs.
- Pair homing projectile traits with gun-toting drones for consistent damage.
- Upgrade drones early if you rely on their special functions.

Shops and Cog Economy
Between levels, varied shop sellers offer weapons, abilities, drones, and passive items for purchase with Cogs. Strategic spending shapes each run’s build and influences survivability.
Shops also allow upgrades, letting you enhance existing gear into stronger versions, which is essential for tackling later, tougher arenas.
- Prioritize buying upgrades for a weapon you plan to keep throughout the run.
- Balance spending on new gear versus upgrading existing items.
