About Virtual Hunter

Virtual Hunter delivers a realistic hunting simulation in virtual reality, letting you explore a large open wilderness populated by red deer, European hare, wild boar and fallow deer. You select weapons, gear and time of day before stepping into the hunt.

The game supports solo play and online co‑op for up to six hunters, includes a weapon stabilization system for long‑range accuracy, and offers a trophy‑mount workshop where harvested animals can be displayed in a personal lodge.

01 / THE GUIDE

Unique Wildlife Behavior

Each animal possesses distinct senses—sight, smell and hearing—that affect how it reacts to the player’s presence. Larger trophy animals are described as having keener senses, making them harder to approach.

Animals spawn anew for every hunt, so their patterns differ each session. Players may use towers, follow intuition, or track footprints, but the fresh spawn ensures a new challenge each time.

  • Observe animal movement before drawing your weapon.
  • Approach high‑sensation animals slowly to reduce alerts.

02 / THE GUIDE

Weapon Stabilization System

The stabilization mechanic lets players make very accurate shots at longer distances, helping the animal go down faster and shortening tracking time.

Using the correct weapon and ammunition combination is said to give full integrity and better rewards for the harvested animal.

  • Spend time at the range to feel each weapon’s steadiness.
  • Match ammunition type to the target species for higher integrity.

03 / THE GUIDE

Trophy Mount System

After a successful hunt, players can taxidermy trophies and place them around a lodge using wall, full‑body or table mounts, each offering several pose choices per species.

Four trophy ranks exist for every animal and different fur types are tracked, allowing players to display their highest‑scoring specimens.

  • Experiment with different poses to highlight size and antlers.
  • Use the lodge as a visual record of which weapon‑ammo combos yielded higher ranks.

04 / THE GUIDE

Co‑op Multiplayer Hunting

Up to six players can join an online session to hunt together, coordinating movement, strategy and equipment choices across the open wilderness.

The shared lodge serves as a hub for post‑hunt storytelling and trophy comparison among teammates.

  • Communicate preferred hunting zones early to avoid overlap.
  • Combine different weapon types among teammates to cover a broader range of game.

05 / THE GUIDE

Adjustable Difficulty and Comfort Features

Adjustable difficulty lets players tailor the challenge to their skill level, providing a scalable experience.

Comfort options such as camera comfort, color alternatives and custom volume controls help maintain an enjoyable VR session.

  • Start on a lower difficulty to learn animal senses before increasing the challenge.
  • Enable camera comfort settings if motion sickness occurs during long treks.
