About Virtua Unlimited Project
Virtua Unlimited Project is a 2D pixel‑art action game starring VTuber characters. Players control Aizawa Kana as she explores the surreal NEO Babylon world, battling other Vtubers with varied superpowers. The game blends classic platforming, retro combat, and role‑playing elements, offering exploration and visual flair.
Set after a quantum‑computer prediction of humanity’s end, the story introduces Operators who wield ESP energy to fight Chaos‑generated Rioters. Defeating Operator bosses grants parts of their powers, which can later be summoned as support skills. The title supports full controller use and Steam Cloud saves for single‑player sessions.
01 / THE GUIDE
Operators and Characters
The game’s world belongs to VTubers, referred to as Operators, who use ESP energy to combat Chaos. Aizawa Kana is the playable hot VTuber, and other Operators appear with distinct superpowers, some familiar and some strange.
Operators are central to the narrative; defeating them yields parts of their abilities, which can later be used as support skills. Their roles tie into the larger plot of humanity’s hibernation and the New World Plan.
- Observe each Operator’s visual cues to anticipate their superpower style.
- Take note of dialogue hints that may foreshadow an Operator’s support skill potential.

Combat and Extreme Flying Kick
Combat is highlighted by the Extreme Flying Kick, which interacts with enemies and environments while granting brief invincibility after a successful hit. This move can be cancelled into other special moves, allowing varied combos.
The system encourages experimentation with trick combos, as the kick’s invincibility window can be strategically used during hectic encounters.
- Use the invincibility period to close gaps on fast enemies.
- Chain the kick into a follow‑up special move to explore different trick combinations.

Bosses and Support Skills
Operator bosses drop parts of their powers and attributes when defeated. Collected attributes enhance the player’s support skills and can unlock EX Skills. Knowing elemental counter rules among bosses is key to victory.
After “friendly communications,” a boss may join the player’s side, becoming summonable to aid in combat with its Support Skill.
- Study each boss’s elemental type to exploit its weakness.
- Summon defeated bosses strategically to cover gaps in your own abilities.

Extensions and Upgrades
Hidden throughout levels are Extensions such as Ice Surface Anti‑Slip, Quick Charge, Auto Charge, and Auto Recovery. Players can install multiple Extensions, even exceeding normal slots, though over‑installing incurs penalties.
Exploring every nook maximizes the number of Extensions you can acquire, allowing deeper customization of Kana’s abilities.
- Prioritize Extensions that complement your preferred combat style.
- Balance the number of installed Extensions to avoid excessive penalties.
