About Verlet Swing
Verlet Swing drops you into a surreal fever‑dream world where statues stare and any collision ends the run. Armed with a hookshot you swing toward glowing spheres, each successful swing teleporting you to a new, similarly styled world with tougher obstacles.
The game offers 100 fast‑paced levels, a level editor that works with the Steam Workshop, and Steam Leaderboards for global and friend competition. It includes partial controller support, Steam Achievements, family sharing, and runs on Windows and macOS.
01 / THE GUIDE
Core Gameplay
Each level requires you to fire the hookshot at a glowing sphere, swing through the air, and avoid touching any surrounding geometry, which ends the run. Momentum and timing are the primary skills needed to progress.
When a swing succeeds, the game instantly teleports you to another world that looks similar but adds more complex obstacles, creating a clear difficulty curve that culminates in the final, most demanding levels.
- Observe the arc of each swing to keep momentum steady.
- Practice early swings to develop a feel for the hookshot’s range.

Level Structure
Verlet Swing contains exactly 100 distinct levels. The description notes that the final levels are reserved for the best of swingers, indicating a steep increase in speed and obstacle density as you advance.
Beyond the main sequence, challenge modes provide alternative arrangements of swinging obstacles, letting players test their skill in formats that differ from the standard progression while still using the same core mechanics.
- Treat the early levels as practice for mastering swing timing.
- Use challenge modes to experience varied obstacle patterns without affecting the main progression.
