About Unholy Heights
Unholy Heights mixes tower‑defense combat with an apartment‑management simulation. The Devil has turned a tenement into a monsters‑only residence where you charge rent, furnish rooms, and call residents to battle when heroes attack. Success depends on keeping monsters satisfied and arranging them into effective pincer formations.
Each monster arrives with its own laziness, strength, job, hobby, and desire, all generated procedurally. By managing rent, furnishing, and occasional romantic cakes, you can grow families, unlock new species, and maintain a fighting force capable of repelling heroic raids.
01 / THE GUIDE
Monster Management
Monsters move into the building when you lure them with rent and furniture. Every resident is distinct, showing traits such as laziness, strength, or quirks, and they hold occupations, hobbies, and desires that are procedurally generated. Monitoring these details helps you decide whom to keep or evict.
Residents may have children, adding new monsters to your roster without extra recruitment. Children are far stronger than their parents, expanding your army as families grow.
- Track rent‑paying monsters to prioritize their upkeep.
- Note when children appear, as they increase your troop count.

Tower‑Defense Battles
When heroes assault the building, you knock on residents’ doors to summon them into combat. Using an intuitive mouse‑based control scheme, you position monsters to create devious pincer formations that trap the heroes and protect your property.
The layout of apartments and placed furniture influences line‑of‑sight and movement paths, allowing you to shape choke points and direct hero flow. Effective placement can compensate for smaller numbers by maximizing tactical advantage.
- Experiment with monster placement to discover reliable pincer angles.
- Use furniture to shape corridors that funnel heroes.

Happiness and Furniture
Charging rent alone does not keep monsters content; you must buy furniture for their rooms. Satisfied residents are more likely to pay rent consistently and answer battle calls, while unhappy ones may skip payments or leave.
Special items such as inappropriately shaped erotic cakes can raise romantic moods, encouraging love events and child‑bearing. These mood boosts are optional tools for increasing happiness without guaranteeing any other effect.
- Prioritize furniture for high‑rent monsters to sustain income.
- Use romantic cakes sparingly to trigger love events.

Quests and Unlocks
The game offers quests that you can complete at your own pace. Finishing a quest unlocks new monster species or additional furniture options, expanding both your army and your ability to keep residents satisfied.
Quests can be taken on at your own pace, letting you choose unlocks that suit your play style as you progress through the building’s management and combat loops.
- Choose quests that unlock monsters matching your preferred combat style.
- Balance quest work with rent collection to avoid income gaps.
