About Turtle Champs

Turtle Champs is a first‑person shooter where players control turtles on a football field. Using a pistol, you can shoot the ball, launch opponents, or propel yourself through the air to chase goals. Matches last five minutes, and the team with the most points at the end wins.

The game supports up to eight online players, though four is recommended for smoother ping. It is free to play, with optional cosmetic purchases that change shell toppers or weapon skins without affecting gameplay.

01 / THE GUIDE

Gameplay Basics

Each match runs for five minutes, during which teams compete to score more goals than the opposition. The objective is simple: move, shoot, and score while managing your limited ammunition. The game is designed for casual play, encouraging friends to join online without a steep learning curve. Players can experiment with aerial movement to reach the ball before opponents, adding a skill element for experienced users.

  • Try staying grounded when you need to reload quickly.
  • Use aerial shots to surprise opponents and reach the ball early.

Weapon Mechanics

The default pistol provides nine bullets per round, and you may fire either one or three bullets at a time. Reloading only occurs while you are on the ground, so airborne players must plan their shots carefully. Aerial movement lets you strike the ball before ground‑bound rivals, giving skilled players a tactical edge over newcomers.

  • Conserve bullets by firing single shots when the ball is far.
  • Practice timing aerial shots to maximize impact before needing to reload.

Map Details

Three visual maps—Forest, Beach, and Space—are available, each serving purely aesthetic purposes. They do not alter gameplay mechanics, so performance remains consistent across locations. The field is large, granting players long‑range shots and rapid movement, which supports the fast‑paced nature of the matches.

  • Choose a map you find visually comfortable for longer sessions.
  • Focus on the field layout rather than the background theme.

04 / THE GUIDE

Scoring System

Two goals exist on each field: a large lower goal worth one point and a smaller upper goal worth three points. Hitting the upper goal is harder but can create a decisive lead. Because the upper goal is positioned higher, players often use aerial movement to attempt the three‑point shot, rewarding precision and timing.

  • Practice aiming for the upper goal when you have a clear shot.
  • Balance attempts between the easy lower goal and the high‑risk upper goal.

Cosmetic Pass

The game is free, with no pay‑to‑win mechanics. A purchasable Cosmetic Pass offers visual customizations such as shell toppers and weapon skins, visible to other players. These changes are purely aesthetic and do not influence match outcomes, keeping competitive balance intact.

  • Buy the Cosmetic Pass if you enjoy personalizing your turtle’s appearance.
  • Remember that cosmetics do not affect gameplay performance.
