About Trolddom

Trolddom is a 2D fantasy open‑world MMORPG that launched version 1.0 with classic features such as monsters, loot, player trading, auction houses, achievements, guilds and professions. Players choose from five distinct classes, explore a mix of handcrafted and procedurally generated zones, and can progress to max level through over 350 quests either solo or with a party.

01 / THE GUIDE

Classes and Talent Trees

The game offers five playable classes—fighter, priest, sorcerer, paladin, and witch—each providing three unique talent trees and a total of more than 150 talents. This variety lets players shape their combat style within the class framework.

Talent trees allow specialization within your chosen class without needing to switch classes. The breadth of options supports both solo and group play.

  • Experiment with different talent trees early to discover which combos suit your preferred role.
  • Compare talent layouts between classes to find complementary abilities for party composition.

02 / THE GUIDE

Questing and Leveling

Trolddom features over 350 quests that guide players toward the maximum level. Quests can be completed alone or with a party, offering flexibility for different playstyles.

Quests offer experience and loot, while deities reward players who pledge allegiance to them, encouraging both solo adventuring and cooperative exploration.

  • Join a party for quests that involve tougher enemies to share loot and experience.
  • Note quest objectives as you go so you don't lose track of them while leveling.

Dungeons are separate from the open world, providing focused encounters and a controlled environment for teamwork.

  • Coordinate roles before entering a dungeon to maximize efficiency.
  • Discuss strategies with your party for handling boss mechanics.

04 / THE GUIDE

Gods and Deities

Players can discover new deities throughout the world and pledge allegiance to them. In return, deities provide rewards that can influence gameplay.

You can discover deities and show your allegiance to them, and they will reward you in return.

  • Explore the world to discover new deities as you play.
  • Compare deity rewards to decide which aligns best with your class.

05 / THE GUIDE

Offline Mode and Custom Servers

Trolddom supports an optional offline mode, letting players enjoy the game locally without an internet connection. Additionally, users can run their own custom servers.

These features provide flexibility for players who prefer single‑player experiences or wish to host private worlds.

  • Test offline mode before a long trip to see how it works for your setup.
  • When setting up a custom server, review community guidelines for a stable environment.
