About Treasure Chest Clicker
Treasure Chest Clicker is an idle clicker where players open a growing variety of treasure chests to earn gold and XP. Starting with a simple wooden chest, you click to increase damage and unlock increasingly valuable chests.
The game offers multiple cursor types—passive, active, crit and balanced—to match different playstyles, and a skill‑tree that lets you spend points on prestige upgrades. Progress is saved via Steam Cloud and the title supports single‑player play on Windows.
01 / THE GUIDE
Cursor Types
The game provides several cursor categories. Passive cursors suit players who let the game run in the background, while active and crit damage cursors reward frequent clicking and critical hits. A balanced cursor blends these approaches.
Choosing a cursor influences how quickly you can damage chests, but all cursors can be equipped and switched as you advance. This lets you experiment with different click intensities without altering other mechanics.
- Try a passive cursor first to gauge baseline earnings before switching to active types.
- Mix and match cursor styles after upgrades to see which yields the best gold per click.

Chest Variety
Over 25 unique chests range from weak wooden to mighty golden containers. Each chest becomes harder to open as you progress, but rewards increase accordingly. Opening a chest grants gold coins and XP.
Some chests have a small chance to drop rare treasures, encouraging players to collect every type. The increasing difficulty and reward scaling keep the clicker loop engaging over time.
- Focus on unlocking the next chest tier to access higher gold payouts.
- Track which chests yield the most rare treasures for targeted opening.

Skill Tree & Prestige
Earning XP levels you up and grants skill points. These points can be spent on prestige upgrades that tailor the game to your preferred style, such as passive damage or gold‑focused bonuses.
Investing skill points enhances your overall strength, making chest opening faster or more visually rewarding, depending on the upgrade path you choose.
- Allocate points to passive damage if you enjoy a hands‑off experience.
- Consider gold upgrades for a more spectacular visual payoff.

Progression Mechanics
Clicks start weak but grow stronger as you advance, reflecting the game's idle progression. Gold and XP from each chest contribute to leveling, which unlocks new cursors and chests.
The loop of clicking, earning, upgrading, and unlocking creates a steady sense of advancement without requiring constant input.
- Maintain a regular clicking rhythm early to boost initial damage growth.
- Allow the game to run idle after upgrades to accumulate gold passively.
