About Town of Salem
Town of Salem adapts classic party games like Mafia and Werewolf into a digital multiplayer experience for 7‑15 players. Participants receive hidden roles—Town, Mafia, Serial Killer, Arsonist, or various Neutrals—and must use discussion, deduction, and night‑time abilities to achieve their faction’s win condition. Role Variety
The game features 33 distinct roles, each with its own abilities and alignment, ensuring a fresh experience each match. Before a match begins, the host selects which roles will be available, and players receive a random role from that pool.
Every player gets an in‑game role card that explains their specific powers and team affiliation, allowing them to act according to their hidden identity during night and day phases.

Game Phases
Each round splits into a Night phase, where roles like Serial Killers, Doctors, and Sheriffs act, followed by a Day phase where all players discuss and vote on suspects. After voting, a Defense phase lets the accused plead innocence before the final Judgement vote.
If guilty votes outnumber innocent votes, the defendant is executed by hanging; otherwise they remain alive for subsequent rounds.

Customization Options
Players can personalize their appearance by selecting from 10 maps, 29 characters, 20 pets, 5 death animations, and 20 houses, as well as setting a custom name and lobby icon. These choices are visible to other participants.
The purchase includes an exclusive SteamBot3000 character skin with a unique death animation, adding a visual distinction for the buyer.
