About Tower Tactics II
Tower Tactics II blends deck‑building roguelike mechanics with tower‑defense strategy, expanding the early‑access offering of its predecessor. Players assemble decks from hundreds of tower and spell cards, equip trinkets, and deploy Hero Cards to survive relentless enemy waves.
The title features five distinct characters, ten Ascension levels, and four extra modes—Survival, Maze Builder, Sandbox, and Crystal Mines—while supporting full controller and Steam Deck play on Windows. Ongoing updates will add more cards, enemies, maps, and community content.

Playable Characters
Five characters are available, each with its own unique card pool that shapes which cards you can build around during a run. This distinction shapes early‑game decisions and overall tactical approach.
Because each character’s pool differs, players can experiment with varied strategies, from spell‑heavy builds to tower‑centric defenses, encouraging multiple playthroughs to discover effective synergies.
- Compare the Hero Card options of two characters to see how early‑game choices differ.
- Compare which trinkets you pair with each character's deck and plan your loadout accordingly.

Ascension Levels
The game includes ten Ascension levels that raise difficulty, requiring players to refine decks and tower placements.
Advancing through Ascension adds depth to each subsequent run and prompts strategic adaptation.
- Start on lower Ascension levels to learn enemy patterns before tackling harder tiers.
- When moving to a higher level, review which new trinkets become available and adjust your deck.

Card and Trinket Collection
Tower Tactics II offers over 190 tower and spell cards and 150 trinkets that modify gameplay. Every run begins before the first card is drawn, letting you choose starting Hero Cards and trinkets that shape your strategy.
Between runs, the Sanctuary lets you place Offerings, which expand your options for future runs, ensuring each playthrough can feel distinct.
- Pair high‑damage spell cards with defensive trinkets to balance offense and survivability.
- Track which trinkets consistently boost your favorite Hero Cards across multiple runs.
