About Total Party Kill
Total Party Kill drops you into a dark dungeon where progress depends on using friendly fire creatively. You control three heroes—Knight, Mage, and Ranger—each with a fixed ability that can be turned against teammates to solve puzzles. The game, a Ludum Dare 43 winner, adds refined art, new music by KungFuFurby, and extra levels in this extended edition. It runs on Windows and macOS, offers partial controller support, and includes Steam achievements, cloud saves, and family sharing.
Each level requires at least one hero to survive to the goal; the others may be sacrificed. The design encourages strategic timing of throws, ice blocks, and pinned platforms, making every decision affect the final survivor’s path.

Hero Abilities
The Knight can be thrown, the Mage can freeze allies into ice blocks, and the Ranger can pin teammates to walls, turning them into platforms. These actions are the core methods for navigating each level and are unique to each hero.
Because each hero’s ability is fixed, puzzles are built around selecting the appropriate sacrifice at the right moment. Understanding each hero’s unique ability and its effect is essential for success.
- Try different sacrifice orders to reveal hidden routes.
- Watch how frozen ice blocks differ from pinned platforms in movement.

Level Objective
A level is cleared when any one hero arrives at the designated goal area. The other two heroes may be eliminated or remain as obstacles, but their survival is not required for success.
This win condition forces you to plan which hero will be the final survivor and how to use the other two to create a viable path. The documented win condition is that at least one hero survives to reach the goal.
- Keep a clear line of sight to the goal for the last hero.
- Use the Knight’s throw early to bridge gaps, then the Mage’s ice for stability.

Art and Audio
The extended edition features redone art and animations, giving the dungeon a more polished visual style. New soundtrack tracks by KungFuFurby accompany the gameplay, adding atmosphere without changing mechanics.
These aesthetic upgrades are purely visual and auditory; they do not introduce new abilities or puzzle types. Observing the updated animations can help identify a hero’s state after being sacrificed.
- Notice how updated animations clarify each hero’s condition.
- Enjoy the new soundtrack by KungFuFurby while solving puzzles.

Steam Features
Total Party Kill integrates standard Steam services: achievements track specific milestones, Steam Cloud stores save data, and Family Sharing allows another account to use the same license. These operate alongside the single‑player experience.
No multiplayer or online components are mentioned, so the focus remains on solo puzzle solving. Steam features do not affect core gameplay mechanics.
- Review the achievement list for challenges related to each hero’s ability.
- Enable Steam Cloud to keep progress across multiple devices.

Platform Support
The game is available for Windows and macOS; Linux is not listed as a supported platform. Partial controller support means some controller input works, though the exact extent is not detailed.
Players can run the game on either supported OS without needing additional hardware beyond a standard input device. No exclusive platform features are documented.
- Test the supported controller to see which actions respond.
- Confirm your operating system meets the game's minimum requirements.
