About Tidy Up the Royal Armory
For twenty years the Royal Armory has lain in neglect, its weapons scattered and its halls dust‑filled. As the Master Armorer you are called to restore order before the king’s inspection, aided by Marshmallow, an eager canine apprentice.
The game offers a calm, fantasy‑themed organizing experience: sort thousands of items, match sets, and watch the armory transform from chaos to a tidy showcase. Progress is marked by completed racks, restored magic, and the satisfaction of a job well done.
01 / THE GUIDE
Explore and Sort Items
The armory contains up to 4,318 items across more than 500 types. Players move through stone corridors lit by lanterns, locating swords, axes, spears, bows, and shields that have been left in disarray. Each item can be examined and placed back into its proper rack or bracket.
Sorting is incremental; as more weapons find their correct spots, floors become visible and piles shrink. The visual change reinforces progress and prepares the space for the upcoming inspection.
- Take a moment to scan each rack before moving items; spotting patterns can speed up matching.
- Use the dog’s assistance when you feel stuck; his help grows with experience.

Identify Matching Weapon Sets
Beyond simple placement, the game encourages players to locate complete sets of weapons. When a full set is assembled on a rack, the armory’s lost magic is rekindled, granting experience and unlocking new spells.
These spells can later be used to summon, move, or otherwise manipulate items, offering alternative methods to tidy the space.
- Group similar weapon types together first; it makes full sets easier to spot.
- Consider saving spells for larger piles where manual sorting would be tedious.

Marshmallow the Dog
Marshmallow starts as an enthusiastic apprentice and becomes progressively more helpful as he gains experience. With enough training, he may graduate from apprentice to royal journeydog and become the finest four-legged armorer in all the kingdom.
Despite his growing utility, he remains a dog, so expectations should be managed regarding the scope of his assistance.
- Observe how Marshmallow’s behavior changes after each completed rack; his actions may become more efficient.
- Use his help for repetitive tasks like moving small items to free up your focus.

Magic and Spell Use
Restoring weapon sets unlocks magic that can be repurposed. Players may summon items, identify unknown pieces, or move large groups of equipment using spells, providing a flexible approach to organization.
Spells improve as you progress, allowing more complex manipulations and reducing the manual effort required for large piles.
- Reserve spells for moments when the armory is densely packed; they can clear space quickly.
- Track which spells you have unlocked to plan efficient routes through the armory.

Modes, Maps, and Controller Support
Beyond the main armory, bonus game modes provide alternative maps and rule sets, offering fresh organizational challenges. The game supports full controller input, allowing players to choose their preferred device.
All content can be saved at any time, and achievements are tracked through Steam, encouraging completion at a personal pace.
- Try a bonus mode after finishing the primary armory to experience different layout puzzles.
- If you prefer a controller, experiment with its analog sticks for precise item placement.
