About The Headliners
The Headliners drops you into a New York under siege by mysterious creatures. You and a crew of one to eight journalists explore abandoned streets, alleys and buildings, each armed only with a camera.
Survive each expedition, then review your photos and hope they’re headline‑worthy. You begin with three press cards, and each outing consumes one; making headlines earns more cards so you can keep venturing deeper.

Team Size and Cooperation
A squad can range from a single journalist to eight members, allowing both solo and cooperative play. Every participant carries a camera, and the shared goal is to survive while capturing compelling images.
Co‑op is supported online, letting friends join the same expedition over the internet. Coordination can spread the team across the city, increasing coverage of potential photo opportunities.
- Assign each player a distinct sector of the map to avoid overlapping routes.
- Use voice chat to call out threats and interesting scenes in real time.

Photo Capture Mechanics
Every team member is equipped with a camera that can photograph destruction, alien invaders, or even teammates in peril. The game leaves the choice of subject entirely to the player.
After an expedition ends, you review the collected shots. Only photos deemed headline‑worthy contribute to earning additional press cards for future runs.

The city’s abandoned streets, dark alleys and hidden corners are open for exploration. Players can enter buildings and search every doorway for anything worth discovering.
Danger is described as being around every turn, so moving cautiously and listening for audio cues can help avoid sudden threats.

Press Card Resource System
You start with three press cards, and each expedition consumes one. Press cards act as the permission token that lets you launch a new foray into the city.
