Storyline
The plot begins with an asteroid on a collision course with Earth, prompting Boston Low to lead a mission to divert it. After the asteroid is nudged into a safe orbit, the team discovers a crystal‑like craft that hurls them across the galaxy. On the planet they name Cocytus, they encounter remnants of an advanced civilization and mysterious apparitions, prompting questions about the planet’s former inhabitants. The narrative drives the player to uncover why they were brought there and how to return home. The story intertwines external mystery with internal character development, urging players to dig for answers both externally and within themselves.
- Compare the tone of the opening crisis with the later exploration to notice narrative pacing.
- Note how each character’s expertise (NASA, journalism, geology) informs the clues you encounter.

Locations
The game boasts nearly 200 distinct locations, ranging from the asteroid’s surface to the bleak, tunnel‑filled world of Cocytus. Each area presents a unique visual style, from crystal‑like structures to ruins of a once‑rich empire. Difficulty varies, with some requiring logical deduction while others depend on careful observation of the environment. The puzzle design reflects the game’s adventure genre, emphasizing thought over reflexes.
