About The Descendant
The Descendant is a five-part episodic adventure series in which the end of the world is only the beginning. After climate change devastated the planet, a man-made extinction event erased humankind, leaving only a few thousand chosen survivors cryogenically suspended in underground bunkers called Arks. Centuries later, the world has recovered from the nuclear holocaust and every Ark has reopened except one: Ark-01.
The story plays out across two timelines. In the past, you follow Mia, a janitor struggling to keep the descendants inside Ark-01 alive while the facility fails around her. In the present, you play Donnie, an investigator attempting to rescue any descendants still trapped inside, all while uncovering a far greater conspiracy buried in the complex.
