About The Death Game Report
The Death Game Report puts you at a lone terminal on a remote island, where you must type record names to restore fragmented testimonies left by the dead. Each recovered memory reveals clues that you cross‑reference with a student roster and island map to determine cause, weapon, and culprit.
Three accurate reports confirm a death, linking the remaining records and shaping the next mystery. The game is designed for solo play, offers a hint system for stalls, and expects about three hours to finish the full investigation.

Core Gameplay Loop
You interact with a single, aging terminal, entering the name of a record to restore it. Once restored, the victim’s final memory appears for you to read and analyse.
Using that memory you compare details against the student roster and island map, then submit a report naming the cause, weapon, and culprit. When three reports align, they are confirmed and the next set of records becomes clearer.
- Take brief notes while reading each memory to avoid missing subtle clues.
- Group similar clues before submitting a report to increase the chance of a correct trio.

Investigation Mechanics
The only investigative tools are the victim’s record, the student roster, and the island map. You must manually match names, locations, and details to deduce the three report elements.
The player draws the connections through logical comparison, making careful reading essential for accurate conclusions.
- Highlight recurring locations in the map to spot patterns.
- Check the roster for any name that appears in multiple records.

Hint System
If you become stuck, a built‑in hint system can be accessed to nudge you toward the next logical step. Hints are available to nudge you forward when stuck.
Using hints sparingly preserves the investigative challenge while preventing prolonged dead‑ends, keeping the overall playtime near the intended three‑hour window.
- Try solving the puzzle yourself before requesting a hint.
- Note the hint content; it often points to a specific clue you may have missed.

Time Management
The game estimates roughly three hours to complete, encouraging steady progress without rushing. Save Anytime support lets you pause and resume without losing data.
Because each set of three reports unlocks the next batch, pacing your investigations helps maintain a smooth flow and reduces the risk of getting overwhelmed by too many unresolved records.
- Set short milestones, such as completing one trio before a break.
- Use the Save Anytime feature after each confirmed trio.
