About The Coin Game

The Coin Game drops you onto a bustling island filled with arcade halls, a 90’s‑style indoor mall, a water park, a traveling carnival and other attractions. Over 50 modern‑inspired arcade machines let you earn tickets that can be exchanged for prizes at redemption areas.

Two play styles shape the experience: Survivor Mode starts you with limited cash, while Birthday Mode gives you unlimited money from Uncle Phil. You can move around the island by bus, golf cart, bike, Mom’s van or on foot, and health and energy are shown on a wristwatch.

01 / THE GUIDE

Arcade Halls

Larry’s Arcade features animatronic characters Teddy and the Ticket Eaters, while UFO Arcade offers space‑themed games, Laser Tag and indoor go‑karting. Each hall contains machines inspired by modern arcade favorites, letting you collect tickets for redemption.

The minions, who are fans of Teddy, can challenge you in Laser Tag, adding a competitive element to the arcade experience.

  • Visit both halls early to compare ticket yields.
  • Try Laser Tag after exploring the machines for a change of pace.

Mall and Entertainment

The island’s indoor mall mimics a 90’s shopping centre, offering its own arcade, food court, shops and a cinema where you can watch your own movies. It serves as a convenient hub for refuelling between activities.

Food options range from cheap junk snacks to healthier choices at Jerry’s; purchases affect the health and energy meters displayed on your wristwatch.

  • Check both food stalls to see which affect health and energy differently.
  • Use the cinema as a break after intensive arcade sessions.

Outdoor Activities

Lenny’s WaterPark provides splash‑filled fun, while One Eyed Billie’s offers mini‑golf and RC boat racing on a pirate‑themed course, expanding gameplay beyond the arcade halls.

These locations are reachable via the island’s transport options, such as the bus, golf cart, bike or Mom’s van.

  • Try mini‑golf for a low‑stress break from the arcades.
  • Use the bus for quick trips between the water park and arcade halls.

04 / THE GUIDE

Travel and Mobility

You can move around the island by bus, personal golf cart, bike, Mom’s van or on foot. Each method lets you reach the various attractions described in the game.

The game warns of lots of highway traffic and tourist activity, so staying off the roads is recommended while traveling.

  • Choose a transport method that matches the distance you need to cover.
  • Avoid the main roads during peak tourist times for smoother travel.

05 / THE GUIDE

Game Modes

Survivor Mode begins with limited funds, encouraging careful spending on food, tickets and transport. It adds a budgeting challenge to the island’s open world.

Birthday Mode removes the cash constraint, granting unlimited money from Uncle Phil, allowing unrestricted exploration of the same attractions.

  • Use Survivor Mode to practice budgeting before trying Birthday Mode.
  • In Birthday Mode, experiment with different transport methods without worrying about cost.
