01 / THE GUIDE
Procedurally Generated City
Each run creates a new layout from over 150 possible areas, so no two journeys match. Locations, items, and zombie placements shift, requiring fresh exploration tactics each time.
Hundreds of scavengeable items appear across the random map, making resource hunting unpredictable and encouraging careful planning before venturing deeper.
- Scout early to locate high‑value loot before zombies converge.
- Mark recurring landmarks to keep your bearings in new maps.

Turn‑Based Action Points
Every movement, attack, or interaction consumes a set amount of Action Points (AP). Managing AP determines whether you can secure resources or avoid danger on a given turn.
Spending too few AP may leave you under‑prepared, while overspending can expose you to zombie attacks, so balance is essential.
- Reserve AP for emergency escapes when zombies appear.
- Balance exploration and combat to keep AP reserves steady.

Crafting, Cooking, and Survival Needs
Survival hinges on eating, sleeping, and staying warm. Scavenge materials to craft tools, weapons, and meals that keep your energy up.
All crafting and cooking actions directly affect your odds against the undead and environmental hazards, making resource management critical.
- Prioritize warm clothing before entering cold zones.
- Gather food and water early to avoid starvation.

Combat and Weapon Variety
A broad arsenal lets you target specific zombie body parts, with head or brain attacks highlighted as effective options.
Choosing where to strike influences zombie behavior and your survival chances, encouraging experimentation with different tools.
- Aim for heads to disable zombies quickly.
- Mix melee and ranged weapons to adapt to crowd size.

Sandbox Customization
Sandbox mode lets you adjust spawn rates, resource abundance, and special scenarios such as Out of Stock, Crowd, or Frozen Zombies.
These settings reshape difficulty and replay value, allowing you to test specific strategies or challenge yourself with harsher conditions.
- Lower spawn rates for a relaxed learning session.
- Increase zombie density to practice high‑pressure combat.
