About Tavern Master
Tavern Master puts you in charge of a medieval tavern, letting you design, furnish and run the establishment yourself. You start with limited gold, buying tables, benches and barrels, then hire staff to serve the first customers.
As you expand you can add a kitchen, hire chefs, host special events, employ musicians and even build overnight rooms. Every choice—from décor to seating layout—affects how many guests stay, how happy they are, and how much gold you earn.

Building and Furniture
The game provides many walls, floors, fences, stairs and furniture pieces to make each tavern unique. Early on you must balance cost with quality, as gold is limited at the start.
Later, as revenue grows, you can upgrade to higher‑quality items and expand the tavern’s footprint. Light sources near tables are important for attracting customers.
- Place light sources close to seating to boost attraction.
- Upgrade furniture gradually to avoid cash flow problems.

Staff Management
Hiring staff is essential; you need employees to serve drinks, clean and later cook food. Keeping employees happy influences their efficiency.
When the tavern gets busy, staff must be able to reach guests quickly. Designing efficient walkways helps prevent angry customers.
- Monitor staff happiness regularly.
- Design clear paths to reduce travel time.
