About Suba Pogo
Suba Pogo is a 2D precision platformer where the player controls a single pogo stick to climb ever‑higher platforms. The core loop involves setting launch angle, charging a jump gauge, and launching, with any mis‑aligned jump resetting progress to the start.
The game offers three visual themes and includes every active JP member, Dev_IS, and @! as interactable characters. Certain members will try to obstruct Subaru, creating challenges that require careful angle and power adjustments.
01 / THE GUIDE
Gameplay Mechanics
Players set the pogo stick’s angle, charge power using a visible jump gauge, and then jump. Precise control is required; a single mistake can send the player back to the starting point, emphasizing careful planning over rapid input.
The experience is single‑player and does not require timed inputs, allowing players to proceed at their own pace. No additional abilities or resource systems are described, keeping the focus on platforming skill.
- Begin with small angle adjustments to feel how direction changes landing position.
- Observe the gauge fill rate to learn the power needed for each platform distance.

Visual Themes
Suba Pogo provides three distinct visual themes that change background art, colour palettes, and overall atmosphere while across the game's three themes.
Because the underlying jump mechanics remain unchanged, players can compare how each visual style influences perception without learning new level designs.
- Test each theme briefly to see which visual contrast aids distance judging.
- If a theme feels visually busy, switch to another for clearer platform outlines.

Character Interaction
All active JP members, Dev_IS, and @! appear within levels and can be interacted with. Certain members try to obstruct Subaru, creating obstacles that may block her path.
These interactions simply require careful adjustments, as an obstructing member may force the player to delay a jump or choose a different angle.
- Observe how obstructing characters behave before attempting a jump.
- Plan longer, higher jumps when the path is clear of obstructing characters.
