About Stream Train

Stream Train is a co‑op horror adventure for up to six players. Your livestream becomes the crew’s lifeline, with a reactive chat that reacts, requests, and donates to shape each decision.

The steam train departs the visitor’s centre and travels deeper into the Uncanny Valley. Each run reshuffles stops, presenting cryptids, gear, and the chance to escape—or be stranded.

01 / THE GUIDE

Reactive Livestream Chat

The audience watches the on‑camera feed and reacts in real time, making requests and donating. Donations are turned into fuel and gear, directly influencing the train’s ability to move.

Chat pushes the crew toward riskier actions; a more entertaining stream yields higher donations, which can be spent on essential resources for the next leg of the journey.

  • Notice which viewer requests trigger the biggest donation spikes and prioritize those actions.
  • Balance daring stunts with safety, as excessive risk can attract dangerous encounters.

02 / THE GUIDE

Procedural Run‑Based Journey

Each run reshuffles points of interest along the railway, changing locations, creatures, items, and encounters. Familiar landmarks may appear, but the exact next stop is unknown until arrival.

Because the layout changes every trip, players cannot rely on memorised routes. Exploration and adaptation become necessary each time the train departs the visitor’s centre.

  • Treat every departure as a fresh map; scout early stops for useful gear.
  • Keep brief notes on recurring landmarks to aid navigation without assuming static layouts.

03 / THE GUIDE

Fuel and Gear Management

Donations are spent on fuel and equipment needed to keep the steam train moving. Stocking up before departure lets the crew travel farther toward the next station.

Every station brings the train closer to escaping the valley, but lingering too long can attract unwanted attention, making timely resource use crucial.

  • Prioritise fuel purchases when donation spikes occur to avoid stalling.
  • Allocate gear to address specific threats you have already encountered.

04 / THE GUIDE

Cryptids and Supernatural Threats

The valley is populated by cryptids, ghosts, and other strange creatures. Not every entity attacks on sight, but provoking them while the camera rolls can increase chat excitement.

Players may choose to taunt or avoid these beings; the decision influences both danger level and audience reaction, creating a dynamic risk‑reward loop.

  • Observe a creature from a distance before engaging to gauge aggression.
  • Use the camera deliberately; a recorded taunt can boost donations but may also draw stronger attacks.

05 / THE GUIDE

Physics‑Driven Action

The game features physics‑driven action, meaning player movements and interactions respond to in‑game forces. This affects how you navigate derelict buildings and handle gear.

Because physics influence every stunt, timing and positioning become important when filming daring dares or escaping sudden threats.

  • Practice timing jumps and pushes in low‑risk areas to understand momentum.
  • Watch how objects react when you interact with them; use that knowledge for safer stunts.
