01 / THE GUIDE
Multiplayer Battles
Matches can host up to 40 players who choose iconic heroes or era‑appropriate troopers, with each side fighting for objectives on land, in the air, or in space. The mode is described as a “multiplayer universe unmatched in variety and breadth.”
Space combat is a separate component that supports dogfights for up to 24 players, allowing squads to engage capital ships, navigate asteroid fields, and battle in Imperial dockyards.
- Communicate with teammates to allocate ground and space roles early in the match.
- Try different vehicle classes to learn their handling before joining live matches.
02 / THE GUIDE
Single‑Player Campaign
The campaign follows an elite special‑forces soldier across a story that bridges Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, covering thirty years of Star Wars lore. It is presented as “a new Star Wars™ campaign that spans the 30 years.”
Progress earned in offline play—such as rewards and upgrades—can be transferred to multiplayer, letting players bring their customized troopers and heroes into online battles.
- Complete each mission to unlock the next set of hero upgrades.
- Use offline sessions to test ability modifiers before entering PvP.

Hero Customization
Players can create unique heroes by adjusting progression and equipping ability modifiers that alter core powers, adding lethal effects, status boosts, or tactical assistance. The description states you can “Create your own unique hero with customizable character progression.”
The Celebration Edition includes more than 25 hero appearances, emotes, voice lines, and victory poses, all of which are cosmetic and do not affect gameplay mechanics.
- Mix ability modifiers to address common enemy tactics you encounter.
- Select cosmetic sets that you find visually clear for quick identification.

Vehicle and Space Combat
Ground vehicles such as tanks and speeders coexist with aerial options like starfighters. Space combat has been rebuilt with distinct handling, weapons, and customization, supporting massive dogfights and capital‑ship assaults.
Players can pilot legendary starfighters in battles that involve up to 24 participants, adding an aerial layer to the overall battlefield.
- Practice each vehicle type in offline mode to learn its handling before live play.
- Coordinate ground assaults with space attacks to pressure enemy objectives.

Offline Practice
A solo offline mode lets players earn rewards, upgrade troopers and heroes, and test new ability setups without live opponents. The description notes you can “Enjoy solo offline play where you can earn rewards and customize troopers and heroes.”
Upgrades earned offline are usable in multiplayer, providing a low‑pressure environment to refine tactics before joining PvP matches.
- Focus on mastering one hero’s abilities before expanding your roster.
- Use offline sessions to experiment with load‑outs without affecting rankings.
