About Star Valor
Star Valor is a space‑action RPG that puts you in command of a personal spaceship while you shape your own destiny. The galaxy is procedurally generated, and each new game lets you decide how large the galaxy will be, creating a unique map to explore.
Credits are earned through mining, trading, salvaging, crafting, bounty hunting, or piracy, then spent on ships, equipment, crew, and skill points. Faction choices, perks, and an arena mode add further layers of variety to the single‑player experience.

Open World Exploration
The galaxy is procedurally generated, meaning every new game creates a distinct star‑system layout. Players can choose the galaxy’s size, which directly influences how far they must travel to reach points of interest.
Exploration is central; you can encounter asteroid fields, ship wrecks, and hidden locations while navigating the open‑world space environment.
- Compare small and large galaxy settings to see how travel distance affects resource gathering.
- Mark asteroid clusters early; they often contain valuable materials.

Dynamic Combat System
Combat is described as dynamic and easy to learn, supporting both head‑to‑head dogfights and massive fleet battles. You can engage in head-to-head dogfights or take part in massive fleet battles.
An arena mode provides focused combat challenges where waves of enemies increase in power as you advance.
- Try both dogfights and fleet battles to discover which fits your ship build.
- Use arena runs to practice handling increasing enemy numbers.

Ship Customization
Over 190 pieces of ship equipment and more than 100 ships across various classes let you tailor loadouts. Weapons can be crafted from mined or salvaged materials with added modifiers.
Hiring crew members and gunners lets larger vessels operate turrets and improve overall performance.
- Mix equipment from different classes to balance speed and firepower.
- Experiment with crafted weapon modifiers to match your combat style.

Faction Interaction
Six distinct factions each have their own agendas. Aligning with one can turn the others into enemies, while remaining independent lets you forge your own alliances and rivalries.
Factions engage in wars, allowing you to participate in larger conflicts that influence the galaxy’s power balance.
- Observe faction relationships before committing to avoid unexpected hostility.
- Joining a war can provide extra combat experience and loot.

Arena Mode
Arena mode is an optional segment focused on combat challenges. Players face successive waves of enemies that become stronger as they progress through the arena.
This mode serves as a test of ship loadouts and combat tactics without the broader exploration elements.
- Use arena runs to benchmark the effectiveness of new weapon builds.
- Adjust crew composition before entering to see how turret support changes outcomes.
