About STANDBOX

STANDBOX is a compact physics playground where you interact with Stanley, a ragdoll driven by a simple medical‑system simulation. He can balance, fall, bleed, break bones and attempt to recover, letting you experiment with trauma, concussion and blood loss.

The game offers three maps, a few tools, and a single‑player experience focused on sandbox experimentation rather than narrative or RPG progression. It’s built by RealityBeholder, supports Steam Achievements and Family Sharing, and runs on Windows.

01 / THE GUIDE

Ragdoll Physics

Stanley behaves like a smart‑ish ragdoll, reacting to forces and injuries with a rough medical simulation. He can stand, lose balance, fall, suffer damage, and try to get back up.

The system tracks organs, blood loss, broken bones and concussion, allowing you to observe how each injury affects his movement and recovery.

  • Observe how different forces change Stanley’s balance before applying strong impacts.
  • Compare the recovery speed after minor bruises versus severe bone breaks.

02 / THE GUIDE

Maps and Tools

STANDBOX includes three distinct maps that serve as arenas for your experiments. The maps serve as settings for testing physics interactions.

A handful of tools are available to manipulate Stanley, letting you explore injury outcomes in varied environments.

  • Try each map to see how terrain influences Stanley’s falls.
  • Use different tools to compare the types of damage they cause.

  • Take breaks between experiments to notice subtle changes in Stanley’s condition.
  • Document your observations to track how different injuries affect recovery.

04 / THE GUIDE

Steam Achievements

STANDBOX integrates with Steam’s achievement system, rewarding players for reaching certain milestones within the sandbox. They reward milestones within the sandbox.

Achievements provide a light goal structure for those who enjoy tracking accomplishments while experimenting with the physics system.

  • Check the achievement list to identify which injuries or tool uses are tracked.
  • Aim for a variety of actions to unlock a broader set of achievements.

05 / THE GUIDE

Platform Availability

The title is released for Windows PCs via Steam. No macOS or Linux versions are listed, keeping the platform scope narrow.
