Staffer Case: A Supernatural Mystery Adventure drops players into a fictional 1960s London where one in ten citizens possess supernatural abilities called staffers. You assume the role of Notrick, the Mana Affairs Division’s newest detective, tasked with untangling murders that hinge on these powers.
The game focuses on gathering clues, arranging them into documents, and spotting contradictions between those documents. Five main cases and two substories provide a narrative that revolves around the supernatural abilities of both criminals and investigators.

Both criminals and the division’s detectives possess staffer powers, ranging from memory‑imprinted objects to invisible traces that mark evidence. Understanding the nature of these powers is essential for solving each case.

Case Structure

Two additional substories explore the backstories and personalities of the detectives. The narrative progresses from Notrick’s arrival in London to a final, unresolved mystery labeled “???” that ties together earlier events.
