About SpaceBourne 2
SpaceBourne 2 is a single‑player, open‑universe RPG that blends third‑person shooting with role‑playing elements. Continuing the story from SpaceBourne, the player must build a galactic empire using mining, trading, piracy, crafting, or combat, with every choice left to the player.
The game generates tens of thousands of solar systems and planets, each with unique structures, climates, and gravity. A living galaxy adds random encounters, ship communications, seven guilds, and a layered diplomacy system involving factions, Starlords, and Houses.
01 / THE GUIDE
Procedural Exploration
Every solar system and planet is procedurally generated, guaranteeing a distinct layout of planets, surfaces, cities, villages, caves, and outposts. This design creates countless points of interest for players to discover across the galaxy.
Massive planetary surfaces feature their own climate and gravity, which influence the visual environment and navigation. Players can explore these varied worlds without a preset path, allowing personal discovery of secrets and settlements.
- Take notes on planetary features that catch your interest for later reference.
- Use the map to mark newly discovered outposts and cities.

Faction Management
Players can establish a personal faction and define its internal operations, policies, governing principles, and management structure. This control lets you shape how the faction expands and interacts with the galaxy.
Growth options include expanding the military, capturing stations, and constructing new stations, which together affect the faction’s standing among other powers and move you toward galactic dominance.
- Consider a balanced approach between military and economic development.
- Track the locations of newly built stations to manage logistics.

Layered Diplomacy
Diplomacy in SpaceBourne 2 involves three layers: factions, Starlords, and Houses. Each House has its own stations, planets, cities, and fleets, creating additional avenues for negotiation.
Relations with Starlords can shift, altering diplomatic dynamics for both factions and Houses. This requires careful consideration before taking actions that might affect alliances.
- Monitor Starlord allegiance changes after major events.
- Use House connections to gain indirect influence over faction relations.

Completing guild quests raises your rank within that guild and unlocks unique benefits from its members, adding extra resources and narrative depth to your playthrough.
- Select a guild whose quests match your current objectives.
- Track rank milestones to plan when to pursue high‑value benefits.
