About SONIC WINGS REUNION
Sonic Wings Reunion continues the arcade‑style shooter tradition of its 1998 predecessor. Set in a modern world under attack by the secretive organization Fata Morgana, players join the sky‑riding rescue team Project Blue to battle across eight city‑based stages.
The Windows release offers eight selectable pilots, local cooperative play, three distinct sound arrangements, and a range of difficulty, invincibility, and practice options. Achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saving round out the experience.

Playable Pilots
Eight pilots are available from the start, each with a unique visual design. Hidden pilots become accessible when specific in‑game conditions are met, expanding the roster beyond the initial selection.
The narrative shifts depending on which pilots are paired, providing varied dialogue and story outcomes. This character‑combination effect also appears when the co‑op script is used in single‑player mode.
- Try different pilot pairings to observe how dialogue changes.
- Note the conditions that unlock hidden pilots for future attempts.

Mission Locations
Players fight through eight stages, including bonus stages, set in modern cities and other locations. Each stage presents its own layout and enemy patterns.
All stages retain the series' signature giant futuristic weapons, offering familiar challenges while introducing new environmental details.
- Observe enemy patterns early in each stage to plan movement.
- Use bonus stages to practice without the pressure of main‑stage enemies.

Local Co‑op
The game supports local cooperative play, letting players team up on the same screen. Conversation scenarios adapt when a second player joins.
Co‑op dialogue is also available in single‑player mode, letting solo players experience the shared narrative without a partner.
- Coordinate with your partner to cover different screen areas.
- Try solo play with the co‑op script to enjoy the expanded story.

Three sound modes let players customize the soundtrack. The original mode features compositions by series composer Soshi Hosoi.
Arrange Sound Mode offers fully re‑arranged tracks by a renowned Japanese sound creator, while Mao Mao mode plays Mao Mao’s song as background music.
- Switch modes to match your preferred listening style.
- Use Arrange mode for a fresh take on familiar melodies.
