About SNKRX
SNKRX is an arcade shooter roguelite where you guide a continuously moving snake composed of multiple heroes. Each hero attacks automatically when near enemies, and the snake can be steered left or right. The game blends auto‑battler ideas: heroes belong to classes, and gathering enough of the same class unlocks extra bonuses. Gold earned from cleared arenas lets you hire and level up heroes in the shop, while passive items add global effects as the run advances.
01 / THE GUIDE
Continuous Movement and Steering
Your snake never stops; you control its direction by turning left or right. This constant motion defines the core challenge of each arena.
Enemies approach, and heroes fire automatically when they are close enough, so positioning the snake is the primary way to manage combat.
- Observe enemy spawn patterns to anticipate turns.
- Practice gentle steering to keep the snake centered on crowded zones.
02 / THE GUIDE
Heroes, Classes, and Bonuses
The snake is built from over 40 distinct heroes, each with its own attacks, passives, and class affiliations. Heroes can belong to any of the 12+ classes.
When enough heroes of the same class are combined, the snake gains a unique class bonus that modifies stats or abilities.
- Group heroes of the same class early to unlock bonuses sooner.
- Mix classes to compare how different bonuses affect your play style.

Hiring and Leveling Heroes
Clearing arenas awards gold, which you spend in the shop to hire new heroes. Purchasing multiple copies of the same hero raises its level, making it more powerful.
Leveling a hero up by buying enough copies makes it more powerful.
- Focus gold on a few heroes to level them quickly.
- Balance new hires with upgrades to keep the snake versatile.

Passive Items and Global Effects
Beyond heroes, the game offers over 40 passive items that apply strong global effects to the entire snake. Each item gives strong global effects to the entire snake.
Passive items complement hero abilities and class bonuses.
- Test how a passive item interacts with your current class bonuses.
- Prioritize passives that complement your dominant hero types.
05 / THE GUIDE
Run Progression and Difficulty Levels
Each run advances through 25+ levels of increasing difficulty, with difficulty rising as the run progresses.
Progression is tied to the number of arenas cleared, and gold from cleared arenas funds further upgrades.
- Adapt your hero composition as difficulty rises.
- Use early levels to experiment with class combos before the challenge spikes.
