About Sigma World Online
Sigma World Online is an online sandbox that spans many star systems, letting players adopt roles such as explorer, miner, merchant, farmer, culinary specialist, scientist, builder, or hunter. The universe expands with generated planets, satellites, and asteroids, and new starter systems appear automatically every three in‑game years. The game offers a large tech tree, space‑flight, terraforming, and a fully destructible environment. Players can construct stations, farms, and even antimatter colliders, while managing ecology, genetics, and a variety of equipment for crafting, cooking, and research.
01 / THE GUIDE
Generated Star Systems
The universe is built from procedurally generated star systems that include planets, satellites, and asteroids. Every three in‑game years (about 36 real days) a starter system is automatically created for newcomers. These systems feature ecological variables such as pollution and contamination, and they host diverse animal races, including silicon‑based life, whose development is tracked over time.
- Observe how pollution levels change after large‑scale mining to gauge ecological impact.
- Compare the initial conditions of a newly generated starter system with older ones for strategic planning.

Tech Tree and Research Tools
A large tech tree guides progression, and a drawing table speeds up research. Players can craft potions on a laboratory table and study product compatibility when creating dishes. Research also extends to advanced propulsion, such as ion and nuclear rocket engines, and eventually quantum engines powered by antimatter produced in colliders.
- Use the drawing table early to accelerate unlocking essential technologies.
- Experiment with potion recipes alongside food studies to discover synergistic buffs.

Space Travel and Vehicles
Players can launch primitive solid‑propellant rockets, ion drives, and nuclear engines to travel between worlds. Transport options on planetary surfaces include cars, boats, amphibians, and tanks. Space stations equipped with warp engines can be built, and meteorites provide additional resources for gathering in orbit.
- Test different engine types on short hops to understand fuel consumption.
- Combine amphibious vehicles with water‑rich planets for efficient resource transport.

Construction and Terraforming
Construction tools include furnaces, crushers, and refrigerators, allowing players to build structures and terraform maps. Private territories are available, and the environment is fully destructible, letting players reshape the world around them. Advanced projects such as colliders generate antimatter, which feeds quantum engines for high‑speed travel.
- Plan terraforming layouts before placing permanent structures to avoid costly rebuilding.
- Use destructible terrain to test layout ideas without permanent commitment.

Economy and Trading
The game supports offline trading between players via trading stations, and clans or friends can be formed for cooperative ventures. Ratings are also part of the game. Roles such as merchant or farmer feed into a broader market, while cooking and product compatibility studies influence the value of crafted goods.
- Monitor clan ratings to identify active trading partners.
- Align farming output with culinary specialties to maximize trade profits.
