About Shattered Pixel Dungeon
Shattered Pixel Dungeon is a traditional roguelike dungeon‑crawler RPG where each run generates a fresh layout, enemies, and loot. Six heroes—Warrior, Duelist, Mage, Cleric, Rogue, and Huntress—offer distinct core mechanics such as durability, deadly melee skill, magic, divine power, stealth, and ranged precision.
The game features over 300 items, more than 25 talents, and three end‑game abilities per hero. With 26 floors across five regions, random rooms, traps, and ten bosses, every descent feels new, and updates arrive roughly every three months.

Heroes and Specializations
Each hero starts with a unique playstyle; for example the Warrior is durable while the Rogue uses terrain. As you earn points you can choose a specialization that adds new abilities, such as turning the Duelist into a Champion or the Cleric into a Paladin.
Specializations expand the hero’s toolkit without changing the base class identity. Selecting a specialization is optional, allowing players to experiment with different tactical options across runs.

Procedural Dungeon Generation
The dungeon spans 26 floors in five regions, each generated with random layouts, room types, items, traps, and enemies. This randomness ensures that no two runs share the same overall structure.
Randomized equipment and consumables mean you must adapt your load‑out on the fly. The variety of room types and enemy placements creates a constantly shifting tactical landscape.

Items and Enhancements
Over 300 items—including weapons, armor, consumables, and alchemy‑crafted goods—appear in each run. Weapons and armor can be enchanted, upgraded, or augmented, adding damage, defense, or utility effects.
Magical wands, rings, artifacts, and trinkets further diversify combat options, allowing you to tailor your hero’s strengths to the challenges you face.

Enemies, Traps, and Bosses
The game features over 60 regular enemy types, 30 traps, and 10 bosses spread across the dungeon’s regions, from wildlife in sewers to occult servants in a fallen dwarven city.
Enemies range from hostile wildlife in the sewers to mad thieves and guards in the prison, and boss encounters test the culmination of your gear, talents, and tactics.
- Watch boss attack cues early to plan dodges or counters.
- When possible, navigate around traps to preserve health for tougher encounters.
